Stroke Survivor
Are you a woman age 21 and older who had an Ischemic Stoke (stoke caused by a blockage in a blood vessel) in the past year? Would you like to participate in a research study?
Q: What is the purpose of the study? A: To learn more about early stroke, which is the time from when you first noticed your symptoms until you were admitted to the emergency room.
Q: What would I have to do? A: You will be interviewed on two occasions by a nurse. You will be asked to tell the story of your stroke.
Q: Will I get paid? A: You will receive a gift card to a national chain store to thank you for your time.
