Program of AGE of Central Texas. The only two licensed programs of their kind locally, AGE’s adult day programs are managed by a professional staff, including a full-time nurse. AGE’s staff specializes in Alzheimer’s and memory loss care, as well as in creating a community-oriented atmosphere where older adults are encouraged to engage in therapeutic and social activities with their peers. Participants take part in activities such as music, art, tai chi, pet therapy, discussion groups, and field trips.
