Registration for the 2012 season of Fantastic Magic Camp summer program is now open!
Fantastic Magic Camp is a fully inclusive day camp for children between the ages of 5 and 12 (age exceptions on a case-by case basis), running from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. After care is available from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Sessions are two weeks long. The Fantastic Magic Camp is a multi-sensory learning experience combining the fun of magic, puppets and juggling to boost the self confidence of every participant and make them feel like a star! Fantastic Magic Camp is headquartered in Austin, Texas, and has been serving the Austin area for 20 years!
CONGRATULATIONS!!The Lake Travis Champs (Chamber Music in Public Schools) Ensemble has been selected to participate in a master class on Saturday, January 28, 2012, with Austin Symphony conductor, Peter Bay as the clinician. Only highly qualified and prepared chamber groups are considered for master class performances. The selected members are violinists, Rachel Kennedy and Josh Mastel, violist, Makeila Sorensen, and cellist, Gyu-Hee Min. The master class will be held at Blackerby’s Violin Shop, 1111 West Anderson Lane, at 3:00 PM, and is open to the public.
